A good tuner, but made and marketed at a time when Pioneer was pulling back from SOTA designs. As I remember it (I was around at the time) this was just at the beginning of the BPC plague. The analog Juggernauts that just preceded it stand head and shoulders above this one. But it's still reasonably priced and delivers MOST of the goods. So, that makes it valuable on its own. The features (and how they're laid out) are a little annoying, but it's nothing you can't get used to with time.

great tuner!

re: F-90

A fine tuner, but not Pioneer's best. Bass dynamics are just a tiny bit less impactful than my other Pioneers. Tuners were always a strong suit for that company though. If you get it for a good price, you'll be VERY happy with your choice. It's compact and it appears to be nearly indestructible. Simply laid out and well manufactured. Never a bad combination!
