Pioneer H-R99

The H-R99 is Pioneer's 8-track record/playback deck, which records and plays back any 8-track, 2-channel tape cartridge.

The electronically controlled motor lasts longer because it generates less heat, and it has a shielded capstan for trouble free tape feed. The vertical head shift mechanism assures proper tape head contact.

Other features include automatic recording level control, end of track signal indicator, illuminated track indicator and a function switch for endless playing or auto stop after 1 track or 4 tracks.

re: H-R99

Is this the same as the HR 22 model without the record features? Would it have the same size belt as the HR 22?

re: H-R99

The Belt Size for the HR-22 is not the same as the H-R99. The H-R99 and H-R100 do share the same belt size.
