It's a really nice amp for the price! I really like how it sounds, and the performance is good for a normal sized room. Far better than any of the new digital things...

After some good experiences with the Pioneer 70's silver era amps and stereo receivers, I was surprised they introduced such low-quality bulk as were the amps SA-330 and SA-530.

Poor audio quality, poor build. One of those to strongly avoid.

re: SA-530

I bought this amplifier sometime in 1989. To this date my SA-530 delivers superb sound although some of the switches becomes sticky but no problem. I really enjoy listening to this amplifier with matching BOSE acoustimas speakers with subwoofer. Great Amplifier!

Pioneer SA-530

Great stereo. and for it to only be 35 watts per channel. It sounds more aggressive then that *like 200 watts.* i got 200 watt speakers plugd in to this thing and its wonderful. My only issue is i think one of the channels are going out ( i was stupid and played that song by bassotronics called bass i love you.... big mistake)
