The pioneer SA-970 is a beast of a stereo. I found one once on the side of the road when I was about 13. 6 years later I still have it and use it very often.

This site says the stereo is 70w each channel but it seems like it has a lot more power. I am currently using 4 200w dj speakers with the system and I turn it up to 6 or 7 and the speakers cant handle it. I use the stereo for house parties and general use because its insanity loud.

re: SA-970

had mine since the 80s, never needed to upgrade, sounds amazing still ,frequency resonse is incredible, as for being 70w, never had a pair of speakers that outdo it, 10/10 everyday.
