Pioneer SP-99D

Description

The Pioneer SP-99D is a processor enabling Dolby AC-3 decoding for reproduction ranging from mono to discrete 5.1 channel, and Dolby Surround Dolby Pro Logic decoding.

The following three kinds of SFC (Sound Field Control) effects can also be added to these modes and through signals:

Theater 1 : SFC providing the sound field of a movie theater

Theater 2 : SFC Providing a more mellow sound than Theater 1

Hall : SFC providing the sound field of a concert hall

Other major functions include Dynamic Range Compression, where the decoder's DSP (Digital Signal Processor) compresses the dynamic range of the playback audio signal for a clear, well-defined sound even at low volume levels, and Multi audio input compatibility, with control of master volume, balance, and other settings possible.

Also features regular analogue inputs for two channels.
