re: SX-203

How do I deoxit the volume knob on the Pioneer SX-203? There is a round hole on the back side of the volume knob. Is this the right place to spray deoxit?

re: SX-203

I found the solution. I pulled off the volume knob and there were three holes in the pot behind the knob. I sprayed a short squirt of Deoxit in each hole and twisted the volume knob in each direction several times. I let it dry and turned the receiver on. All the scratchiness/static is gone!!

When it comes to pots, you have to get in where you fit in...
