The Pioneer SX-2600 delivers a powerful 240 watts per channel. Clear and crisp, deep and rich.
5 band graphic equalizer (equalizer buttons are lit) is nice and responsive.
Very good sound quality: Crisp highs, deep lows. Sounds great at low volume; maintains crisp sound at high volume. Its so powerful with my Pioneer V934 (150 watt) speakers that I cannot turn it all the way up to 10 - literally shakes the house. (I think it could handle a live concert.)
Enough inputs (Phono - Vinyl sounds great); CD (now music from computer); 2 Tape inputs (one now used for bluetooth); VCR/Line (currently unused) for all my music sources. I updated it with a $20 bluetooth adapter and can stream music to it.
AM/FM Stereo w/10 presets (don't use much); Remote control.
Note: Despite reports to the contrary, it is 240 watts per channel.
Summary: The Pioneer SX-2600 has a good feature set which sounds better than my modern 2016-17 equipment, yet intergrates will music streaming with $20 bluetooth upgrade.
