great sound. if it keeps shutting off and you get POWEROFF error the power caps are bad, 6800uF 63v. you'll have to replace all the secondary electrolytics near the voltage regulators

We were getting fuzzy/static response through the speaker switches. Cleaning them out with contact cleaner & compressed air seems to have cleared things up. Thanks for the reference manuals!

Amazing that I have been a member for over 5 years and was just amazed that I could get a user manual for a > 20 year old Pioneer VSX-305 receiver that I use in my garage. Seems that it is so archai I couldn't figure out how to reprogram the station memory after apparently hitting the wrong combo of buttons.
