Recently replaced my newer 914s with the 9900s. What an improvement in sound. Very low distortion. Really makes my Cerwin-Vega E-712's rock like never before. I used to own a vsx-3600 and it was powerful too, but not like this.

It includes a plethora of analog rca inputs, as well a s-video. It does not include any digital inputs but I don't need them anyways!

Only caveat is it runs hot due to amp section. I will alleviate that with cooling fan soon.

Great Receiver. Had mine since 1994 and I still use it for surround sound. I have Cambridge Soundworks Ensemble with 4 remote speakers, soundbar, 2 unamped subs, and 1 powered subwoofer with slave. Excellent sound!
