great receiver, one question. Can the volume of the A Speakers be adjusted independently from the volume of the B Speakers?

Outstanding home theater receiver..!...lots of control over your listening area.....Expanded Theater Mode broadens the size of the surround sound field, simulating a much larger space. This feature adds to the theater-like feel when watching movies in the comfort of your own home. Audio Digital Signal Processing (DSP) recreates different sonic environments, simulating the acoustics of locations like arenas, churches, and clubs. Playing music through a DSP mode creates a more vivid, life-like listening experience.....have watched Top Gun...many times just because this receiver makes it so great..!
..... Full Function Remote Control provides complete control of the unit from the comfort and convenience of your chair.

Recently replaced my newer 914s with the 9900s. What an improvement in sound. Very low distortion. Really makes my Cerwin-Vega E-712's rock like never before. I used to own a vsx-3600 and it was powerful too, but not like this.

It includes a plethora of analog rca inputs, as well a s-video. It does not include any digital inputs but I don't need them anyways!

Only caveat is it runs hot due to amp section. I will alleviate that with cooling fan soon.

Great Sounding Receiver. I've had mine for 24 years.

re: VSX-9900S

Trying to figure out why phono sometimes plays at a low volume and when that does occur the graphics equalizer does not show bar graphs. But when plays on phono with bar graphs sounds normal"louder". I must have hit settings but have no idea how to get it back to play louder?

re: VSX-9900S

How do I download an instruction manual for the Pioneer VSX-9900S as I just signed up and don't see the instructions for doing so

Thank you

Great Receiver. Had mine since 1994 and I still use it for surround sound. I have Cambridge Soundworks Ensemble with 4 remote speakers, soundbar, 2 unamped subs, and 1 powered subwoofer with slave. Excellent sound!
