re: STA-116

This excellent little receiver debuted in 1987 and is the smaller brother to top of the line units STA-2600 and STA-2280. All were built by Foster Electric. The 116 has a good FM tuner, though not quite as sensitive as the 2600/2280. Sold from late 1986 through 1988, replaced by the STA-117 in 1989.
