I've had my STA-2300 since the mid-80's and it still looks and works like new. It was the cat's meow back then..

The STA-2300 was the last of the 120 watt per channel receivers sold by Radio Shack, preceded by the STA-2100 and STA-2100D. Manufactured by Tandy Electronics in Korea; anyone that doubts this need only look at the FCC ID# on the back panel. The first three letters indicate the manufacturer, in this case AGC (Tandy Electronics). The 2300 used LED meters as opposed to the mechanical meters found on their other high power receivers (an early 80s thing).
