With the standard caveat that every amp has to be mated to the right speaker...I feel this little gem deserves very high praise! I'd give it a 10 but people wouldn't believe that number. It is hard to change preconceptions.
Tuner is amazing, bass reproduction lacks for nothing and the darn thing looks beautiful with it's pale green etched glass front. Sansui only took out cost where it matted not a wit to the sound, the knobs for instance are aluminum over plastic instead of solid, so what! The case is vinyl over plywood, not bad just not expensive. The thing is all about the works and work it does. Be surprised...fix up one of these little guys!
