Hugely fond memories of the 441. My late father bought one in the mid 70s and it was my introduction to 'proper'hifien. Teamed with a Philips GA437 turntable and (I think )goodmans speakers, as an 11 year old started my lifelong interest in hifi, and I currently work as a process engineer for a company that manufacturers bare PCBS for many UK hifi manufacturers.

Back to the 441. Ths thing that struck me most was the performance of the tuner section, especially it's selectively. On both my own grundig party boy radio, and my parents 70s unit audio system, the local taxi firms radio used to break through on BBC radio 2 on FM , with the sansui, not a murmur.
Listening to 70s soul music on vinyl was an engaging experience, and my mind was blown when I first heard Rush' s 2112 album on the Sansui.

Not the most objective review however the 441 has a special place in my life
