Yes it is an excellent receiver! I have owned 10 diff Sansui's & this is very nice! :) Have still a 5500, 5000 (best), 5000A, 7000, (2) 881's, Eight, 4000, and sold some 6060's & some 5000's. The 1971 7000 is a special production (IMO) and the forerunner idea's to make the Sansui Eight the very next year. Fine amp :)

Where do I begin? I absolutely love this receiver! I love the quality and craftsmanship in this era of Sansui. The 7000 really packs a punch! The powerful and sonic reproduction of any source is truly amazing to me. This unit is over 45 years old and still sounds awesome.
