I own one since 3 years. The AE-970 was part of a system. My manuel for it was published in 1987. Although it looks pretty cheap on the outside, don't let that mislead you, this amp is a very good performer, very powerful and nice, warm sounding. The original owner told me he payed about 2000 euros back then. The fact that it has a digital input, a remote control and the ugly sucker sounding incredibly good leaves me to conclude it's an underrated amp. The sansui company had troubles during the 80's and many don't appreciate the quality of their 80's products. I can only tell this amp has the sound quality and power of their haydays and the features of a modern amp.
