re: AU-7500

I bought this unit in !973 for $220.00 . I was 21 and had 2 kids . It wasn't a popular decision . I used daily and then as teenagers my daughters blasted it hard to 80's pop. They grew up and left it still working . It met its end when , newly divorced and dating , two drunk lesbians I was drinking with overdrove it to 90's club music . I still drag it around with me , thousands of miles , non working. It's beautiful . Knobs still click positively or glide silkily. Someday it will return to it's glory ! In its best setup it was joined to an AR tuner , Teac 3300 , Dual 3 head cassette , Dual 1218 turntable with a Stanton 681EEE , and EPI 100's speakers. Young and broke year by year this was the system by 1979. These units , each of them , were goals I set for myself and they helped to keep me sane during those stressful days trying to make a living during and post Vietnam . Those were the "really" crazy days. What you bought in 1970 cost 3 times more in 1984. I digress. I loved the sound of my Sansui especially when listening to my CTI Jazz recordings . That is my experience.

re: AU-7500

Good Day
Does anyone have one who is willing to take the bottom cover off and send me a jpg of the wiring to the small preamp power supply pcb, there are 4 wires on the output of the pcb which have been removed, think it is faulty and they were using the unit as a power amp as there are links between pre and power amp.
Power amp 100%, preamp dead as one can expect with wires off!
Kind Regards.

re: AU-7500

Do you still need this?
I just got one in for service.
