re: G-5000

Any info on changing my lights to LED on the G 5000 ?
Or replacement tips with original bulbs ?

re: G-5000

Manual says light is 8v, .3a. LEDs typically want 3V, so if you put 3 in series, and added a resistor to limit the current through the LEDs, electrically it should do the trick.

BUT I think the illumination might look odd. Manual says it's PN 0400560, and you can find various offerings on Ebay. One interesting one was to use a cheap screw-in E10 base bulb...

Good luck. It's worth it as lit up it is a glorious piece of work.
