This old high end SANSUI TU 9500 tuner, rare on the market, which succeeds the excellent TU 999 is of extreme refinement with a sumptuous low frequency range.

It is very dynamic, open, living with a beautiful depth and will fill with happiness the remarkable amplifier AU 9500.

A royal couple that I am proud to own.

Forget that it's over forty years old, forget that it's analog, this unit sounds outstanding! Picks up stations 75 miles away, easily discriminates between two closely spaced stations. All but the most distant stations show full scale on the strength meter and are noise-free. It has H-V outputs for an oscilloscope for multi-path detection. And this is all before replacing any old capacitors.

re: TU-9500

Found the manual. Had to pay $ for it, so I'm sharing it with you all.
This tuner is a wonderful unit, the best tuner I have owned.

re: TU-9500

Update: bad channel was due to dirty contacts. Still need schematics for mods and recap work.

re: TU-9500

Does anyone have a service manual or schematics?
The left channel is about half volume, AM or FM stereo/mono.
