Bought a CMT-NE3 for my then 75 year old parents around 2004. This replaced a 1970's vintage Panasonic system with an 8-track player/recorder. The CMT-NE3 played the CD's and Compact Cassettes they already had in their cars. This system was just enough stereo for them. Not too complicated. Covered all of their media.

Now, fifteen years later, everything still works, as far as I can tell. I don't have an audio cassette handy. It was a very good small all-in-one stereo when new. Still pretty good, even without USB, BlueTooth or a thumb drive reader. Those hadn't been invented. Good reception on both AM and FM with presets.

The power in an acceptable 15W RMS per channel into 6 ohms @ 10%THD. Included one-way ported speakers have no bass.
