My first Mini-disc recorder and I am very impressed with the quality of its sound. recordings of vinyl are nicely reproduced with full tone.

Great sounding MD Recorder/Player! JUST SHARING: I transplanted a working MDS JE520 minidisc mechanism to this machine after its stock laser failed & the unit shut down. All the flex cable terminals & power supply cable matched and I'm back listening to the great sound of this model. Don't hesitate to use the Sony MDS-JE520 mechanism on a Sony MDS-JB920 or the other way around. I successfully did it! I hope this helps minidisc users like me. Thanks for reading!
