I bought this receiver new in 1990 and it is still performing flawlessly today. With 100 watts per channel both channels driven into 8 ohms it is reasonably powerful, even by today's standards. It is only two channel with the ability to drive two sets of speakers and also a pair of surround speakers but don't expect it to do 5.1 or 7.1 surround. But for what it is, it does a remarkable job at it. Clean power, a multitude of ambience features and digital tuning with 30 presets. What is not to like. I just cleaned this up tonight and am passing it on to my 19 year old son who just got bitten by the vinyl craze and begged me out of a brand new Audio Technica AT-PL120 turntable and about 50 of my classic 70's pristine vinyl albums. Sad to say not many of these receivers are probably still around and in use but it is still a nice unit.
