Outstanding Piece of equipment both in terms of reproduction and construction, the grandfather of the ES series and a Vintage Sony Masterpiece.

A fantastic feature- rich preamplifier with very low distortion, two phono inputs, one with adjustable resistance loading and a bypassable stepped tone control circuit.

At this age, all of them will need the electrolytic caps replacing and the bias checked.

I recommend this unit to all who appreciate the older, warmer amplifiers of the 60's and 70's, the quality is such that it was in existence 13 years before I was born and it will be in existence for may years after I'm gone.

Does anyone have a scan of the owners manual?
