Great pre amp with which you can drive any poweramp with XLR and RCA(cinch) inputs. Also has an inverted xlr ouputs to drive (japan) XLR inputs with changed HOT/COLD pins. The specs are still above any new pre amp. The sound is awesome ture Hi end style. Has one of the best MC/MM phone inputs. The MC has a built in step-up trans so it really fits a wide range of MC cartridges. Has a separate input for MM. no messing around with changing cables if you have a two tonearm record player.

it has all inputs dead silent the ones that are not used are grounded (no RFI no humming) . the only active input is the one you pick.

to me that is the ultimate preamp. It is very rare item on the second hand market just like any product that is made to last and perform tip top at any time.

I drive my TANR10 monural amps with this pre amp. Speakers DIY DTQWT MKII. Just need a good source and you reach the nirvana of sound.

Sony claims they made only 100 units with 230v and the same amount for 100v.
