Nicely designed and solidly constructed, does all you need it to do. Can be a real bargain secondhand at a reasonable price.

Very impressive for its weight and price. I like it a lot and it compares very well against my collection of highly acclaimed and more expensive ES-gear.

ES models are produced in very high quality. Carefully measured components. These amplifiers are second to none.

This is just a considerably slimmed F5xxxES amp with
revised internal structuring and new faceplate design.
Consequently the price/value ratio is noticeable bader than
older models. Nevertheless this is a solid build good
quality amp,but also quite expensive (new) for what it
delivers. If you look for a basic ES amp,the older F505
or F590 models are the better choice.
