re: TC-440

got the play, rev, FF.FR working by cleaning the old hard black grease and regrease with white linthium grease. Can't get the capstan rollers to move up in play position? Any help out there? Tnaks Fred

re: TC-440

TC-440 power to the unit lights up vu meters. Do not hear any motor running, function buttons locked (rev, ff, play) . BTW with tape in or out. Thanks Fred

re: TC-440

I just bought one of these for recording, but for some reason the tapes will not spin. If i take the tapes off they seem fine, but with the weight of the tapes they do not spin. Any ideas?

re: TC-440
