re: TC-FX2

Got a TC FX2. Have not loaded any cassette yet. Its FF is working, REW is working. But on pressing Play, the head assembly is coming up and getting engaged, Its Pinch Roller getting pressed with the fly wheel shaft, both are rotating at apparently normal speed. But the collectors pulley (The right side collector wheel in the cassette loader) is not moving. But it modes at high speed on pressing FF. Is it normal? does the collector pulley starts moving on loading a cassette only?
By the way, seen somewhere that the set has a Auto Play feature. What does it mean?
Thanks and regards in advance.

re: TC-FX2

I had this deck for a few/several years back in the early/mid to later '90s before selling it in '98. It was a hand-me-down from my older brother and he bought it new back when it came out. In all those years that I used it, and then owned it, I don't remember it having any kind of auto play feature.
