re: TC-WA7ES

Hello all,
I recently got my hands on this deck so I could dub cassettes slightly faster to my computer. Auto Reverse is a wondrous thing for this purpose. however, the left side of the deck quits working after a few seconds and is also hard to eject tapes from. I'm downloading the manual so I can read up, but does anybody who has either owned the deck or still owns the deck have an idea of what causes this problem? As I say, the right side well is working fine.
