Very desirable and excellent sound quality. Can write subcodes without the need for an external box unlike the following D7 and D8 models. Proprietary battery dies eventually but can run off a 9 volt PP3. All will require servicing or repair at some point but there's a great chap in the west country (UK) who fixes these cheaply so with that proviso they are recommended.
