Superscope's A-245 stereo amplifier is designed to give you maximum sound quality for minimum dollars.

When matched with our T-210 tuner and Superscope companion speakers, the A-245 becomes the heart of a separate component system that outperforms many others at much higher prices.

You'll find the A-245 full of advanced features. Like tape monitor switching, easy adaptation to thrilling four-channel sound and main/remote speaker switching lets you add a second set of speakers in bedroom or den.

A special magnetic/ceramic phono switch means you can use a professional turntable with a super-sensitive magnetic cartridge, and Superscope's over current protector guards against overloading at high volume levels.

The A-245 will capture your attention with its gleaming white gold anodized front panel and rich walnut-grained cabinet, and its compact size makes it perfect for apartments, dorms and mobile homes.

I still use the Superscope A-245 daily in my office. It still works perfectly, no scratching on the pots, button switches flawless. I assume the 210 tuner still works but I have not used it in years. 2017- 1973 ? 40-something years.

And then along came Sony ....

A very nice little Amp that punches way above its weight in terms of sound Quality.
With only 10 watts per chanel one is surprised with the Quality of the Sound.
Up the Reservoir Capacitor from 3300mfd@40v to 4700mfd@50v Also no harm to beef up the rectifier diodes. I have replaced the existing ones with four IN4007s.
