I've owned my TR 200 since 1974 and except for a short time when I owned an Adcom system, it's been the heart of my sound system. Over the years I've had it serviced several times, mainly replacing bulbs. It's not a very powerful machine but we don't blast our music, mostly jazz, anyway and it - still - performs very nicely. Well made - solid - warm sound and it still looks beautiful after 40 odd years. They made their reputation through their reel to reel decks which I coveted for a long time but never got around to buying one. The company's bankruptcy was a loss for the audio world.

re: TR 200

Tandberg are still around? in professional circles if not in home Hi-Fi maybe, where they make industry standard encoders for video broadcast...
