Fantastic 3 head tape deck! Found this deck at a thrift store for $7.99, and absolutely loved it! A-300 has all of the bells and whistles that an audiophile deck should have: Dolby, ferrite head, memory counter, and nice big VU's. High quality, heavy, build. Excellent sound characteristics and wow/flutter specs. Only problem I have is that belt is only available from Europe for about $30 U.S. (as of 2014)

re: A-300

Recaptcha - why do you say it's a 3-head deck? The specs and service manual only list and show 2 heads -- one erase head, and one rec/play head.
