Teac A6300 Lamp Question

Hi guys!

Has anyone tried to switch the VU meter lamps over to LEDs? I am curious so as to not have to find and replace these when they burn out.. They are a 6.4V ac light buld string light..

I am looking into switching these to LEDs.. somehow.. curious to see if anyone else has tried this though before I reinvent the wheel :-)
