Very well built, extensive adjustments for perfect mechanical and electrical alignment.

Very rich and detailed sound with excellent signal/noise ratio even without Dolby enabled.

Excellent tape transport.

Excellent recording quality on all types of tape. There is minimal difference between the source and the recorded program even when using a normal type tape.

The VU-meters are large and accurate.

Rich, detailed midrange and bass.
Good SNR even without Dolby.
Respectable HF response for jazz, blues and rock.
Well built.
Very enjoyable to listen to for various genres.
