re: A-R600

Cannnot fault this amp. I have encountered a problem recently. My condition dictates that most of the time I am confined to bed. I moved the TEAC into the bedroom. The remote control, although now much closer to the amp. does not respond. I found that if I directed the hand unit directly at the sensor it functioned, but at an angle it doesn't. My situation is that at I am at a 45 degree angle to the amp. when in bed, and at a distance of about 2 metres. I figure that the IR sensor has come back from its correct position. I have yet to take the amp. apart. Will let you know how I get on.
Some of my works can be found on a search for - alan willcox + esr +capacitor and also alan willcox + transistor tester.

Kind regards

Alan Willcox.
