I have recently replaced the E caps in mine. I also replaced the output cables with .71 solid copper and gold plated RCA sockets. The sound is exceptional, and preferable to my previous favourite Yamaha 810 tuner which I also re capped. The Yamaha was more warm and laid back, the Teac more detailed, fast and brighter in the high frequency with a tight but full bass. The Yamaha had a better finish and build, although the Teac remains tough, functional and reliable.
