I got given one of these low-end basic vintage 2-head decks from Technics, it's made in Japan but has quite a few plastic controls giving it a bit of a cheap feel. Sound quality is fine though, and it still works fine after over 30 years. I suspect it didn't give Nakamichi et al any sleepless nights when it came out though!
