Great deck, I've owned this machine since new, it is now 28 years old, it was used regularly for around 10 years, then resigned to storage, and switched on and used for a short time, every so often, but eventually ended up in the loft, now after around 10 years, it was brought down, and tried out, and it is still working fine, and still sounds very very good, obviously a well made tape deck, when recording from CD, with a decent tape, or even a cheap tape, you can tweak the bias and levels to get the best from the tape, and you can get extremely good recordings, with a stable, clean, and warm sound.
