re: RS-DC10

I repaired my technics successfully , replace the smd capacitors on the small pcb that is behind the headblock , also clean the pcb before you solder new capacitors , also replace the smd capacitors on the small digital pcb that is under the metal plate on the main pcb , the bipolar capacitors are ok and also clean the print before you do (very important).

re: RS-DC10

My player is Technics RS-DC10. Can't get sound after recording on DCC tapes. while recording it looks like ok...but after finish recording when try to play no sound. I use Optical input for recording. didnt try with analog or Coaxial input yet. Also noticed that while recording, at the begining both rec & play button lights should be flashing but in my case only the play button flashing..rec indicator stay still. Could someone help me to sort out the problem..? When I play analog cassettes it works fine but with DCC tapes no sound. Thnx in advance.

Kind regards

the service manual is very

the service manual is very helpful.

as Philips model does not have any manual right now.

although the resolution is little bit low.

Thanx for the manual. I bought a deck 2nd hand and so far everything's working fine. Sound quality with analogy not as good as my NAD 602 especialy with Dolby B and C. I recon the DCC will definately show it's colors with digital recordings, now to try and found some DCC casettes!

Hi Pascal,

I already threw away 2 DCC-900 decks because they were completely mute. Now I think my beloved DD-82 is starting to act up. Your help would be very highly appreciated.

Hi Pascal , I`m having the sound drop out problem ( sometimes intermittent, sometimes constant with no sound at all) and am getting really frustrated as the deck is as new and I know the heads are clean. Can you help me ?

Pascal - I have that problem- can you help?

Hi Pascal, I have a Marantz DD-82 which again seems to be the same deck as the Technics RS-DC10 and the Philips 900. Suddenly I have no output from analogue or digital cassettes, I can however use the deck in monitor mode. Can you help me get my deck running again please?

Now DCC deck didn´t light up, after a few months listening music, two months ago the some tapes sound partially, after the tape didn´t change the side.

I took my deck to the Philips workshop, but they couldn´t repair it, because lack of parts, too old they say...

And finally this week the deck didn´t work at all

Can anyone help me?
