I was given one yesterday as part trade in on repair costs for 4 retro units.
Cleaned it up, ran the head cleaner, adjusted speed for 220v and popped a few of my metal copies from my rsm12 1978 circa and WOW ITS AMAZING!
MY SUV2 is still 100% as well.
The heads on the 14 and the rollers are still perfect!
RETRO RULES!

Very surprised about this budget Tape. Had it for 2 years in a Garage as part of a deal and put it on my desk today. Other than readjusting the speed, everything is fine. Not the usual problems with budget decks of that time. The Tape tension on the right reel is fine and Wow and flutter absolutely in specs. I did record something on a good Maxell Tape and the output is great. Of course not a nag or revox but would use it to listen to old tapes again because it gets more details out of an old magnetic tape than some other (old) high end tape-decks.
