Very good semiprofessional equalizer. Sounds good - works good. No hiss, no distortion.

The soundadjustment with the microphone (optional) RP 3800 is helpful but seems a little bit too professional than it really is. The display is nice and an eye catcher. Used it for almost a decade for live mixing music at FOH in the late 80ies as an Equalizer for allover PA correction.

I just found one of these in a junk shop. Everything seemed to be working except noisy pots... after a strip down and going over all the pots with contact cleaner it works beautifully. A lovely well-built unit with a great spectrum analyzer.

Purchased new - early '80s... Excellent unit - also, purchased 2 rp-3800 mics - for rta adjust & live recording in clubs, etc. Superb mics. Continued use of rta & eq to this day in exotic 7.1 surround ht system. Classic vintage & superb component.

re: SH-8055

Yes, SH 8055 is nice looking and excellent audio analyser, looked for Nice unit several months and able to find it out few days ago, ........

Great sounding, what I most like ,it can produce nice high, low, and mid frequencies even at LOW VOLUME. If you correctly adjusted the frequencies you can listen and enjoyed the analog sounds from this unit. Worth to find one!!!!!
