This audio source is the Last of the Mohicans among the CD players from the Golden era of Technics brand.

Being a kind of slightly budget variant of the famous Technics SL-P2000 model, this CD player inherited a number of chic audio advantages, including the very silent and reliable transport/optical pick-up SOAD70A.

One of those rare Technics CD players, whose analog outputs on the rear panel are gold-plated.

In short, this CD player sounds terrific. It has a much higher audio performance level, than modifications of Technics SL-PS770 have.
