Super clean sounding amp, its small but built with quality materials inside and considering its only 45wpc it really delivers

Great presence and punch. Lovely amp that's built like a tank and wonderful connectivity.

re: SU-V470

I planned to buy one, but the power consumption is ridiculous: 450 W!

Technics SU V470

Just picked up one of these as part of a package including SL P477 CD player, ST G70l Tuner , RS B665 tape deck and bookshelf speakers, all for under $100
Its a lovely unit - not as polished a perfomer as my SUV10X but sounds similar and has the same smooth warmth that has made me a fan of Technics gear for 30 years.

Given the number of people getting rid of late 1980`s and early 1990`s gear to "upgrade" to 5.1 cinema all in a box systems, these are going for a song.
Pick them up now before people realize how good they actually sound compared to "modern" gear.

Just a question, please.

Dear Jdoconty
I have just bought a SU-V470 second hand but it doesn't work.
I mean I connected a tuner, 2 speakers and no sound, not even the usual zzzzzzzz noise of an amplifier on with no signal in, came out. Any suggestion? I think I connected everything ok. I even changed the speakers but to no improvement.
Thanks for a reply

ps you are dear right about sound quality of "old stuff".

SU-V470 Technics no audio out

Ciao Maurizio,

2 consigli:
