re: A-400

Hello, I've got one of these from a yard sale, and it's got an issue:
The speaker protection relay kicks in, when it's cold after about 30 minutes of use,
once it's warmed up, that'll happen almost instantly after turning it on.
Does somebody have any hints at what I should look at first?
Thank you

re: A-400

For anyone reading this. In my case dust builded up inside the amplifier and shorted the speaker outputs. I had exactly the same problem on my pioneer a-447. Just removed the dust and it worked like new. I also have yamaha a-400 and i clean it reqularly so this doesnt happen. Try it out.
