Nice looks, sounded ok. But not my favorit.



re: CR-840

Bought this unit in 1980. It served me well for many years. Ran a pair of Klipsch Heresy&CornwallI's with them. The unit started to get tired with a scratch sound when adjusting volume.

A few years ago I was introduced to Luxman starting with the integrated amp LV-105.
Couldn't believe the difference in sound it was like day and night. I sold the Yamaha and didn't look back.
