Very nice sounding amp...warm and smooth. This amp drove two sets of speakers (8 ohms) no problem. I was a bit warmer than most amps but I did not check the DC bias on it.

S/N ratio is high on this one the damping factor is not as good as the AX-596 but both are performers with audiophiles in mind...solder joints that are factory look ugly inside but that is what they did back then...awesome amp to own.
