re: MX-630

so i got the mx-630 and i love it but can u hook it up to a vintage that dont have a pre out i have two old yamaha amps but dont have pre out could i hook it up to tape out does that work

re: MX-630

Yes you can use the record out function on your receiver to use the pre-amp. That sends the unamplified signal to the MX-630. Connect the record out RCA jacks to the Line Input jacks on the MX-630. Using this method allows you to select which function is being sent to the amplifier. You can then use the tuner,LP, CD or a tape as the source. If your old amps don't have a record out function selector you can still use this method as what ever is the source is what is going to be sent to the amp. Just set the source to what ever you using. This is assuming that you have tape record RCA jacks.
