I heard a lot about these units from other people, and they all say the same thing, that they're surprised at how good it sounds. I scored one of these on eBay, via auction, and apparently nobody else wanted to bid on it, so I got it for 40 bucks. Despite it being manufactured in 1980, everything functions on it like it was brand new. The internal components all still look new, and the sound emitting from it sounded greater than 75 watts per Channel, closer to 90/ 95 watts per Channel. The quality of sound coming from it was pretty darn good, I would rate it up there with my Kenwood KR-7400, which in my opinion blows away Marantz, and Pioneer units of the same time manufactured. I'm very happy that I purchased it and now I am using it in my workspace, connected to Mission 70 MK2's... if you happen to run into one of these units whether it be the 700, 900, 1000, or 2,000 grab it up because it won't be long before people start catching on that this unit is quite the catch at a great price.
