re: R-V902

Have owned this receiver for about 5 years. Bought it used for $75 and has been great. Recently, volume above half, it would shut off on me. Being that it would cost more than it's worth to fix, I bought another used receiver. This one, a Pioneer VSX-5700S. Sound-wise, there is a huge difference. The responsiveness of this Pioneer blows the Yamaha out of the water, let alone the power and clarity. That being said, the Yamaha worked well for me while it worked.
